The Führer was aware that Röhm was a homosexual all along. He was not killed for being a homosexual, as is so often miscommunicated for being the reason for his assassination, no that was just the justification later used to explain his permanent “removal”. Ernst Rohm was the commander of the Sturmabteilung (Storm Battalion, or SA), who was killed during the Night of the Long Knives, in 1934, as a political rival of Adolf Hitler.

I hate to provide an all too cliché example, but Ernst Röhm (you really can’t ignore the classics) is one such perfect archetype of what is the underrepresented traditionally masculine homosexual that I previously mentioned. If this rings true for you then I dare say it is precisely because of the work of the aforementioned flamboyant, insular minded homosexuals, et cetera, who have promulgated this exact notion. I’m sure that the words “right/ultra-right politically LGBTIQ-identifying individuals” will sound like somewhat of any oxymoron. The result, however, is that you wind up with say seemingly more straight-laced, serious, or even right/ultra-right politically oriented LGBTIQ-identifying individuals who end up marginalised, and less likely to “come out”, based on what they will often view as nothing more than noisy fucktarded queers, with whom they do not want to be associated. I’m not suggesting that this is, in any way, a negative feature of the “movement”, for as there is a right of politics so must there too be a left to compliment and oppose it, and vice versa. What I’m seeing, is that this LGBTIQ culture self identifies, or at least translates, as left wing politics. So what I am driving at, when I say that there is no queer culture, is that the rainbow flag toting, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert parading, in your face homosexuals you see aren’t the only front of non-heterosexuality that’s worthy of political consideration, or attention. What is questionable, however, is the notion that you will come to a conclusion about choices such as “do I want to listen to Lady Gaga?”, or “do I want to go and shoot some fucking wild boars with my paramilitary buddies?” based on your sexuality.

To me, sexuality is independent of personality, sure your sexuality may influence you toward certain choices, such as “will I make out with this woman?”, or “do I want to go home with this guy?” Of course, I mean your sexual orientation is unquestionable. Now, the quotation marks around ‘queer culture’ and ‘community’ are there on purpose and I’ll explain why There is no real and intrinsic queer culture.

What I’m seeing frequently, especially when confronted with large numbers of individuals who consider themselves a part of the perceived “queer culture”, is young, flamboyant, homosexual men who believe themselves to speak for the whole “community”. Since this is the first blog I’ve ever run (properly that is, not like my Tumblr, which is just reblogs of posts, pictures, et cetera that I like) I’m uncertain of whether or not this is an out of left field topic to begin with, but I’d like to elaborate on something that has been bugging me for some time now.
